When are Memberships dues due and how much?

How do I pay for Membership Dues?

The fiscal year for the organization is January 1 to December 31. Membership dues should be paid annually in the first quarter of the year. Dues for the current year will be accepted through the 3rd quarter of the year.  Dues paid in the 4th quarter of the year will apply to the next fiscal year's membership.  The Board of Directors sets membership dues each year.  Dues for 2024  are set at $50 per household or $35 for households of one person.  Why the increase from $35 per household?  Dues were set at $35 at WPA's inception in 2003. $35 in 2003 = $58 in 2024.  The short answer is that we can't pay for the same level of socials and operating expenses like website, bank fees, printing, and curb number maintenance at $35/household.

The optimal time to pay is at the Annual General Meeting held in January or February.  During the membership drive in the first quarter of each year, please place a check payable to WPA in the boxes located on President Coleen Wright's porch at 1004 Blue Ridge Circle or Treasurer Lisa Dunn's porch at 1003 N. Waterview Drive. Please include contact information and address with dues.  Alternatively, Venmo Treasurer @lisadunnright, cell 214-995-6659.
